Mike Ejeagha – Onye Ori Utaba
Mike Ejeagha – Onye Ori Utaba

This timeless folktale is told by Enugu’s own “Mike Ejeagha,” the renowned Igbo storyteller extraordinaire, and it’s a scary one this time around. “The Man Who Robs Tobacco,” or “Onye Ori Utaba,” explores the terrifying folktale of Akuebube, a cunning blind hunter whose abilities took a tragic turn.

The song transports listeners to the center of the village Akuebube formerly called home, with its eerie tapestry of rustling foliage and whispers from the villagers.

The horror is revealed with every guitar strumming and lilt of “Akuko Na Egwu, Mike Ejeagha”: Akuebube, who was once a respected provider, is overcome by his darkness, mistaking a friend for an enemy and sending the hamlet into terror.

Taking after already discharged tracks, the well-enchanted tune is the foremost later entry this year.

Beside that, this unused, exceptional composition will unquestionably be worth a spot in your music collection if you cherish quality music.
