Zahara On What She Wants To Be Remembered For At Death

Death is a given. That’s one fact that most people can relate to. In addition, people dream about things they would like to be remembered for when they pass away. Zahara, a vocalist from South Africa, was no different.

The singer, who sadly died on December 11th, is currently trending on the internet as a result of an old video that she posted about what she would like to be remembered for becoming viral.

The artist stated in the aforementioned video that she doesn’t really desire much. Her preferred legacy would be as the next-door girl who made a difference in people’s lives. Naturally, “the girl next door” conjures up images of a modest woman who is willing to act as a friend and/or sister to those in her immediate vicinity when necessary.

To her credit, her music did, in fact, wind up changing a lot of lives. Not only have her admirers accepted this fact, but so has South Africa’s ruling elite, led by President Ramaphpsa, whose heartfelt homage to the woman moved many in the country.

As Zahara prepared for her upcoming white wedding to her liver Xaba, death intervened and destroyed their preparations.
