Uncle Waffles Is Competing For Two Grammy Nomination

According to reports, Amapiano princess Uncle Waffles is a contender for two Grammy nominations for the project “Asylum” and her hit song “Yahyuppiyah.”

Uncle Waffles has had an incredible year; that much is clear. The well-known Piano DJ has performed on the biggest venues throughout the world and collaborated with some of the biggest stars in the music industry.

With Grammy nominations, the celebrity now hopes to win the year. Who wouldn’t appreciate that, of course? She disclosed on her Instagram page that she has submitted her song for a Grammy Award. Her widely popular song “Yahyuppiyah” is up for nomination as “Best African Music Performance,” while the Asylum album is vying for the title of “Best Global Music Album.”

Waffles wrote, “It’s been an amazing year, I’ve played 100+ international shows, and I’m soo greatful for everything that continues to happen in my life. Today marks the 2 year anniversary since my life changed and I’m in awe at what has happened since, and this part of my journey is even more exciting as I’m proud to Announce that I’m in the running for two Grammys nominations, I need my babysss to share this post for me🥹!!
