An established name in South Africa’s media, Pearl Thusi recently made fun of the Botswana Yarona FM Music Awards, which she co-hosted with Sway Tha DJ.
She left the stage after only ten minutes, according to accounts. She then turned to social media, hiding the accolades without providing any explanation for her actions. And even when several admirers asked straight questions and wanted to know, she didn’t tell them, instead just leaving a laughing emoji.
She was nevertheless forced to end her relationship with the show because several tweets implied that she was not provided with a decent changing area for the event. Soon after, she departed.
She expressed her love and gratitude for her Botswana followers in her message, despite her alleged displeasure with the way she was treated and her disappointment with the award’s organizers.
With this occurrence, the singer adds her name to the list of famous South Africans who have left a gig early for various reasons.
As of the time of writing, the award’s organizers had not responded to her conduct.
