A project by a more well-known artist from a nation in Europe or the Americas is the dream project for many young, up-and-coming rappers in Africa. Naturally, not all of them get to witness the fulfillment of this desire.

Rapper Blxckie from South Africa may be one of the fortunate ones because he appeared on the album of American rapper Bas. In a social media post, the Durban rapper expressed his gratitude for working with the American.

Blxckie posted the album cover art, “We Only Talk About Real Shit When We’re Fucked Up,” and the tracklist on his personal Instagram profile. The latter revealed that he collaborated with the American on a song called “U-Turn” (track 11), which also included rapper A$AP Ferg.

He mentioned that the song on which he was featured has particular meaning for him and urged his supporters to listen to the album in the description accompanying the photo. That makes sense considering his background and the obstacles he had to overcome to get to where he is now. Check out the post that’s below.

Mzansi was delighted to commemorate it on its own in the Blxckie post’s comment area.
