When you succeed, it is highly probable that people will hear about you and give you recognition, as South Africa’s rugby captain Siya Kolisi just received.
At the National Basketball Association, the South African received a shoutout (NBA). In retrospect, it was a well-earned honor because the captain of the Springboks has won two World Cups with his squad. His leadership and other attributes were acknowledged both domestically and internationally.
Siya’s picture and name were emblazoned on large screens. The moment when South Africa defeated New Zealand in the recently concluded Rugby World Cup was also recorded, showing the South African celebrating the momentous victory with his teammates.
