Working with some of the greatest voices in the world is a dream come true for many. Naturally, though, not everyone is able to see their dream come true.

Naledi Aphiwe, a South African musician, is one of the fortunate few who was able to collaborate with American artist Chris Brown. She understood it was a huge boost to her singing goals, especially since she didn’t have an amazing collection at the time.

Some would argue that she became arrogant about the partnership because of her success. Some South Americans took offense at her boasting, believing that she ought to have been more modest while honing her skill and used the Chris Brown partnership to pursue partnerships with other outstanding local artists.

She apologized on her Instagram page to people who thought she was pleading, saying in the post’s caption that she didn’t mean to upset anyone. At the time of our last check, the post had received over 10,000 likes and 500 comments. Check out the post that’s below.

She supposedly received $3k for Christ Brown to sample her voice, by the way. She said she would use the money to upgrade her phone, fix her mother’s grave, and further her musical career with the remaining portion.
