Our gal, Nadia Nakai, is one of the local voices that American rapper G-Eazy has recruited to perform with him at his concert in Cape Town. But she’s not the only local performer who’s scheduled.
The program will also feature performances by Lemon& Herb Sun-el Musician and YoungstaCPT, two more local performers. Not only that, but there will be other musicians at the show to support the Americans, including ones from Ghana.
This is a gathering of voices for a show that many anticipate will have an impact long after it concludes, and that is already causing music enthusiasts in South Africa to become extremely excited. The Instagram reel is displayed below.
Being a part of the forthcoming show’s roster is a huge victory for Nadia Nakai, who is still grieving the loss of her partner AKA, who was assassinated some months ago. She is also preparing to issue an EP in his honor, by the way.
Although she has not yet disclosed the project’s launch date, she has informed supporters that it will be available on a meaningful date, which is quite soon.
