Mzansi Touched By President Cyril Ramaphosa’s Tribute To Late Zahara

Tributes to the late South African singer Zahara, who passed away on December 11 after a brief medical emergency, have been pouring in. President Cyril Ramaphosa was among those who paid respects in her honor.

The impact the singer had on South Africa’s music scene before her death was demonstrated by Ramaphosa’s choice to write a tribute to her.

The president said in his video eulogy that Zahara’s passing was regrettable because it deprived South Africa of a tremendous talent. He expressed his profound sadness over her passing while praising her as one of the greatest artists South Africa has ever produced.

Just a few days before to being sent to the hospital due to an urgent medical condition, Zahara was said to be in good health. Her illness struck so suddenly that some of her family thought she was possessed. Some even believed she had been poisoned.

On the other hand, most people on the internet believe that she passed away from a liver problem brought on by alcoholism.
