Mixed Reactions As Second Amapiano Awards Is cancelled Last-Minute

This year’s Amapiano Music Awards have been canceled, which has left many South Africans perplexed and incensed at the way the situation is being handled.

The second Amapiano Awards were scheduled to take place, and attendees had already arrived at the Sandton location with invitations previously sent out. However, many that arrived for the vent were taken aback when they learned that the awards had been abruptly canceled.

Many were dissatisfied by the last-minute cancellation. particularly those who had made the effort to attend and prepare for the occasion.

The message said, “Amapiano Awards cancelled due to non-payment from organisers,” on the sign that was posted outside the Galleria in Sandton, the location of the event. Put differently, the event cannot go ahead as planned because the organizers failed to meet their financial responsibilities.

According to reports, Qhubani “DJ Qness” Ndlovu and Pleasure Adams, the award’s organizers, were present for the presentation but left quickly, leaving many unanswered concerns.

Sources claim that there are more scandals surrounding the Amapiano Awards, ranging from brand ownership to purported financial misconduct. Although the specifics are still hazy, it will be some time before anything comes to light.
