Kelly Khumalo Catches Strays Following Zahara’s Death

A musician from South Africa, Kelly Khumalo, appears to be taking in stray dogs after her colleague artist Zahara passed away on December 11. Days before, the singer had been taken to the hospital by ambulance, but sadly, she did not survive that stay.

South Africans have been sharing memorials and attempting to preserve her legacy ever since word of her passing spread. Somehow, though, Kelly Khumalo was drawn into the whole thing. Chris Excel, a supertroll from South Africa who considers himself to be the president of Black Twitter, was in the forefront of this.

He was a little morbid in a recent post on the site, suggesting that Kelly Khumalo—who has been involved in a number of scandals during her life, including the passing of her ex-boyfriend Senzo Meyiwa—should have died rather than Zahara, who is beloved by many South Africans.

While some South Africans praised him for it, others disagreed with his viewpoint. Chris Excel, however, who considers himself to be the only legitimate catfish account on X, doesn’t appear to care. He would probably be irrelevant on social media without controversy, since he lives on it.

In any case, Zahara’s memorial and funeral schedule will soon be made public.
