The former president of the United States, Donald Trump is still indicted on several counts, some of which are serious enough to land him in prison. However, the MAGA is adamant and would stop at nothing to avoid going to jail.
In the midst of all this, Trump, who hopes to secure the Republican Party nomination, has claimed to be persecuted for his political beliefs. He made a comparison between himself and Nelson Mandela, the former president of South Africa, who spent 27 years in prison before leaving to serve a stint as ruler.
The idea is that, in contrast to what some people believe and to their embarrassment, he will nonetheless prevail over all of the “persecutions” and posturing against him. It remains to be seen if it will indeed transpire.
Investigations into his history as a former president and even his early years are still ongoing in the meantime. There are around ninety-one criminal allegations against Trump, including mishandling secret material and plotting to rig the 2020 election, which he lost.
Twitter users are starting to speculate on what may happen if President Trump were still in office in light of the current unrest in the Middle East.
