Amidst the tax evasion scandal, Mzansi actress Sonia Mbele has finally disclosed her health status.
Since it was revealed that Sonia Mbele was being investigated on 42 counts of tax evasion, she has consistently appeared in news articles and trends. The celebrity did not show up for court despite rumors that she was dealing with a medical issue that was changing her way of life. In a statement, she ultimately verified the news, adding,
“My doctors performed tests which confirmed that I have anaemia that has gone chronic.”
“I had to change my diet and quit alcohol. I now have to go for drips to make sure I have enough iron.”
“Sometimes additional tests or treatments for iron deficiency are necessary, especially if your doctor suspects that you’re bleeding internally.”
When Sonia accepted an NFTA award for Best Non-Scripted Series for Real Housewives of Johannesburg, she became visible for the first time in a long time. She said she felt content when she went out to write.
“My first night out in a while and it was completely worth it!”
Even though Mbele is said to have paid off her tax debts, the scandal is still widely discussed. But when her assistant released a statement purporting to prove the actress’ innocence and accuse her former colleagues and business partners of undermining her, she had everyone laughing.
